Venturing into the Social Media Unknown

So this is the first post!  Mainly it will be an exploration of how to use WordPress, and as such is likely to get deleted before too long.

But, in the unlikely event that people stumble over this site before I’ve even had a chance to start populating it with useful information, this is intended to be a blog for my business, Carter Atmore Law, and perhaps some more general musing on law and life in general.

We are resident in Pitt Street (hence the imaginative blog name), at the top of the Auckland CBD in, for those of you offshore, New Zealand.

At this stage I’m not sure what direction this will take…whether fully fledged and somewhat serious business platform, or something a lot more personal.  Probably the immediate concerns are populating it with some graphics and some generally useful legal information to the average reader.

So…why don’t I get on to that, rather than just talking about it?  Well, it’s a public holiday here today and as such I’m away from the office and all the various gif’s and png’s that I could access, plus the newsletter articles I intend to link to.  I got up early…couldn’t sleep…so decided to set up the blog that I had been promising myself for some time that I would create before the 11 yr old comes and kicks me off the PC.

So…basic typing works, check.  Next I think we’ll try and find something useful to link to.  Onwards and upwards.
