Low Equity Fees…some surprises here

Ok, this article I’m linking to is somewhat out of date (Feb 2010), but it is a worthwhile find.  As at that date, the bank you would normally think of as being the cheapest (Kiwibank), turns out to be the more expensive if you’re borrowing above the now traditional 80%.

The link is a good discussion of low equity premiums for people thinking of buying houses on 85%, 90% or even 95% loans.  Have look…the site is worth a browse:
