ADLS Body Corporate Operational Rules

Notification today that the ADLS (Auckland District Law Society Inc) has released a set of Model Operational rules for residential, commercial/industrial and mixed use bodies corporate.

While they are intended to be a full replacement for existing rules, they are of necessity conservatively drafted to be a precedent “base” – one size will not fit all, and users will still have to tailor clauses to suit specific purposes.

This is the first time the ADLS have released body corporate rules, and it should be helpful in the same manner as the ADLS Agreement for Sale and Purchase and the ADLS Deed of Lease have proven standard setting in their own fields.
