About

My name is Ivan McIntosh, and I am a fifty three year old property law specialist, a consultant at Cooney Lees Morgan in their Matamata office, New Zealand, living in in the beautiful country town of Cambridge.  I am married to Joanna, father of three fine young men aged twenty six, twenty and two, a Waikato rugby referee, and a passionate supporter of whatever sport my boys are playing at the time.

I and my colleagues work with people who have goals for their land or their business, helping to guide them through the myriad obstacles placed in the path of realising those goals.  Nothing makes us more proud than the continuing success of our clients and their families.

Cooney Lees Morgan are a large full service Tauranga based firm comprising over sixty high quality legal professionals, with a satellite office in Matamata. Our contact details are:

Previous to Cooney Lees Morgan I was a partner with Carter Atmore Law in Auckland for 12 years, servicing a busy practice heavily involved in property development, with several hundred million dollars worth of apartments & hotels under development.

In the years following the global financial crisis we shifted a lot more toward the commercial side of business activity as well as the property side.  We also grew a strong immigration practice, with the assistance of two mandarin speaking staff.

In 2018 we took the decision to relocate to Cambridge with my wife Joanna (nee Hicks, a fifth generation farming family still on the slopes of Maungatautari) and our young son Harry to enjoy all that the Cambridge lifestyle has to offer.

Give us a call so we can have you round for a coffee and a chat….
